Marcus Adeyemi
Marcus represents founders and family owners selling or buying companies across New England, with more than 70 closed transactions.
"The letter of intent is where most of the deal is won or lost."
Biography
Marcus spent nine years in the corporate group of a large Boston firm before joining Whitmore Legal Group in 2016 to focus on owner-led companies. He now leads the firm's transactional practice, representing sellers and strategic buyers in the lower middle market.
His clients include precision manufacturers in the Connecticut aerospace supply chain, insurance agencies, dental and veterinary practices, and technology services firms. He is especially sought after for sell-side readiness reviews and for negotiating letters of intent before exclusivity.
Marcus teaches a mergers and acquisitions drafting seminar as an adjunct professor and mentors early-stage founders through a Hartford accelerator program.
